   Ruby Andrews – ‘You Made A Believer Out Of Me’
   was the soul joint sampled by Prince Be, De La and most recently on Q-Tip’s ‘Won’t Trade’. Lifted off the ‘Black Ruby’ which goes for duckets, but you can pick it up on one of those BBE comps.

   The shout outs on that Rated X album are comedy- Jeff the left Dancer, Henry the Right Dancer, Nonit The Pope Singh and of course – Lorenzo The Beef.

   Never knew Salaam Remi made beats like that Ras T song, its nuts. Great show as per usual.

    My first listen, yo this is the living ruffness. ha. i especially enjoyed the Sunday lunch being thrown in the mix. I’m gonna be scouring for some of those tracks soon for sure! I’d be pretty interested to know where these mystical clubs you speak of that actually play music like this are! I guess in london rather than up here int north.
