New gang starr is much needed, I was listening the the squeeze the other day, I though it was alright when I bought it, not as classic as a lot of their records, but it seems to have got better with time. Funnily enough was just thumbing through an old HHC the other day wondering if I should throw it out due to the horrible semi-nude 50 cent pic on the front when I stumbled upon Drew Huge’s piece on Primo vinyl, there’s still a couple I don’t own and should really have in the collection. Da Ranjah’s 12″ certainly dope.

Now, now Timmy, during the days of “Pre-legal radio” you was driving a battered old Sierra, mate. Not a “blacked-out Jeep”!

On the subject of Primo remixes, i’ve never understood the love for the In The Trunk remix. Too $hort just sounds wrong over boom-bap.
yes brian. the beat on that remix is ill, but i think the funk of the og version suits him better.
Westwood 57!?! I know he’s old but surely not 57? I would have put him at about 10 years less.
