Its just one chord over and over but Jay just blew everybody away, and that hook was monstrous. but best Jay beat goes to Dead Presidents. Watch me play DP on piano while rapping at the same time at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1k1gLFq-qw
I also do Changes by 2pac in that vid and big poppa, and i think i break into Feling it a little later.

I miss those days of people looping up samples like that, and cold as ice all them, the best one I heard lately was that ‘new york minute’, great sample usage.

Nah, because you’re always complaining about modern-rap “not living up to the old days”, and NY Minute is the epitome of generic noughties NY mixtape hack rap, innit.

“New York Minute” is also the best Olsen Twins movie.

what you wrote Brian, ” NY Minute is the epitome of generic noughties NY mixtape hack rap” sounds like the epitome of something a second rate magazine reviewer would have written in HHC in the naughties.

    102 Names be zingin’!

But it is. It sounds like a Tru-Life mixtape track from 2005.
