Fat Lace Radio

OK, so it is what it says on the packet. Fat Lace Radio. We did this on some spontaneous shit, boozed up after watching Leeds beat Man U and neither Dan Large nor Drew Huge have ANY radio experience,  so don’t expect too much. If we get 1,000 spins we’ll try harder next time. Promise.

    You havin’ That?!

Go work fellas. Fat Lace Radio is indeed the “Shiznit”! Have you got 100 downloads yet? I want hear that difficult second podcast!

Respect for all your other work too: both your HHC columns were always the best read. Loved that Cover art book too. Keep up the good work.

Extra respect goes out to Drew Huge for supporting Man U. Grew up in Do Or Die Timperley, Cheshire, now live in the hip-hop hotbed that is Otley! I’d imagine you Leeds boys know it well!

I just listened and it was alright, bit different, talking bollocks and all that (in a good way). I think the godfather don track was the best, haven’t heard that for ages or maybe I’ve never heard it before. I’ve always been of the opinion that ‘monster beat’ was shite and I still think it is. No-one from sheffield would ever give anyone any respect for supporting man u or leeds so i won’t. I’d listen to another one.

Good show! Particularly the back to back of JB’s and Young ‘D’ Boyz – nice!

  • 7 rob // Jan 11, 2010 at 10:09 am

Oh yeah…and ‘J Dubs Theme’ which was a personal favourite for many a year.

  • 8 superix // Jan 15, 2010 at 7:44 am

    do more of these please!

  • 9 Mr Bozack // Jan 16, 2010 at 12:14 pm

Yep, class, do some more boys. Hazardous is a quality album.

I’m a Gills fan unfortunately so hoping that no one buys the ludicrously overpriced Beckford, as Leeds are apparently sniffing around our only player who knows where the net is….

Cheers fellas , much appreciated. We’re setting a date for the second one soon.

top work gents: top banter, fabulous tunes, no mixing, teasingly redundant ebay tips, ear crunching effects, virtually no effort and what a great result – looking forward to more tales of sushi eating rappers and their government names [Moseph, Cedric, Timothy et cet, laughing loudly] – any danger of mighty Mike and the cornerstore terrorist making an appearance on a one-off?

this series should run like ethiopians !

    much jones chaps, much jones
