i’m sorry maybe i’m old school but i’m not feeling this. repetitive hooks and price tags for all the bullshit that he doesn’t own…just doesn’t do much for me…now i know there’s been good hip hop since “like water for chocolate” and “things fall apart” but why do we keep commending these artists for not elevating their craft? so go ahead, keep buying stuff like this. feed that monster until hip hop doesn’t look anything like what you remember.
oh dear. kingadrock (not the real one I’m guessing) has hit the nail on the head. this is fucking aweful. If it was supposed to be a comedy record then i’d understand, but it’s not even funny.
If you ever read Fat Lace, then surely you would pick up on the sarcastic overtones in their plaudits and realise it was intended to be tongue-in-cheek.
Chamillionaire is definitely one of the dopest in the game right now.
This track is pretty fucking weak though, but then a lot of what he does seems to be pretty tongue in cheek in itself, and I think this is just trying to bait the hate.
if he’s taking the piss out of that kind of weak production/wack sing song chorus thing then good. You just can’t tell tho coz people do love records like that that aren’t tongue in cheek and defend them as great modern hip hop tunes.
Yo congrats to Koopa on his success over the years. I see another artist on the horizon. “The Talented Mr. Finley” is the name if new Def Jam artist Mr. Finley’s album. I’ve heard a lot of his music and seen him a lot onIine. Did my research and dude is from Vegas… oh shit! That’s something different. His joint “She A G” is kinda nice.

Dopest in the game…? Didn’t know the game got that bad…
Pimp C flipped the Tom Petty joint better, as did Jerry Maguire.
