Adidas x Def Jam 25th Anniversary

Def Jam celebrate 25 years of greatness in conjunction with Adidas. Nice use of maroon found on original Def Jam 12″ sleeves on the Superstar as well as the classic ‘tone arm’ logo on the Stan Smith. See them HERE. It’s easy to be cynical but not many rap labels can boast a catalogue like theirs. Check the video below for some incredible footage of Andy Kershaw interviewing Run DMC on Portabello Road rocking some incredible Def Jam jackets although notably signed to Profile Records. Those shits are priceless.
