Ever So Clear

The Meaning Of Dope are back with more vintage video footage. They have and amazing clip of Bushwick Bill hosting Rap City on BET. Bill breaks down the history of the Geto Boys and talks about when he first started rapping for the group. Essential viewing, especially to hear him ever so eloquently point out the perils of domestic violence.

Classic 12″. Can’t wait to watch that footage.

Got a question for the fatlace crew. Someone told me they once saw ‘Gangster Of Love’ on 12″, with a pic sleeve, but I’ve never seen a copy, does it exist?

Nah, it’s not on 12″ – maybe they were thinking of the ‘Do it like a G.O.’ picture cover.

He was possibly, but it was someone who was deep into collecting, I thought he would have know about the G.O. 12″‘s and I remember quizzing him about it and he was quite certain about having seen it and wasn’t on the wind up either. Maybe he dreamt it. I’ve certainly never seen it or known anyone else that’s claimed to have seen it.

Maybe fatlace could start recreating those classic LP sleeves like you did with ‘Power’ and the Alliance LP, ‘We Can’t Be Stopped’ would be a goodun, do you know someone vertically challenged who could be Bushwick?
