  “It takes a lot of albums”, so not Biggie then Tip? Also it would be nice for rappers to name the best two rappers as something other than the two that they kind of got their style from. Still you can’t knock them, I’m just picking on the Abstract again. What’s the album like?

  well, Tip’s one of the most consistently listenable MC’s of the last 20 years (it is thatnlong since we first heard him with JB’s innit?) and alongside slick rick he is someone who can just keep doing it, not many MC’s have that kind of longevity, how many other MC’s have put an LP out this year, 18 years since their first one and it shit on most stuff out there? Look at LL, his last LP was rubbish, Jay-Z is just boring and as for Nas, but Tip is consistently fresh and should be in most people’s top 10’s I reckon.
