Ever since we first met T La Rock back in 1997 he’s been telling us about a movie in the pipeline based on his untold life story. If the movie ever does transpire we hope he gets the full props he deserves because if it wasn’t for T La Rock certain rappers like LL Cool J may not be what they are today. We’ll leave it to the movie to tell the whole story, we hope. More details HERE. As for Diddy, we’re not sure whether he’s playing T La Rock or Special K. Your guess is as good as ours but any suggestions are welcome….

Fuck P-Diddy. I wanna know who’s gonna play Tuti Futi Judy and if her booty’s gonna be big and round enough.
Who’s gonna play Greg Nice…probably Kanye West or some other loser knowing our luck.

You guys are so cynical.
Surely you don’t doubt Puffy’s thespian abilities after his Brando in The Godfather/Henry Fonda in Once Upon A Time In The West/Rick Moranis in Spaceballs level performance in Carlito’s Way 2 : Rise To Power?
Russell Brand will probably end up playing the young Rick Rubin.

Russel Brand would be great as Rubin and Johnathan Ross would make a good MC Serch. I’d like to see a complete re-construction of the ‘3 minutes of beatbox’ recording session, recreated beat for beat, maybe Kanye can mime it unless he stops singing love songs like a big girls blouse for a minute and has a few beatbox lessons.
I can see a great comedy moment in the film too where T-La Rock is pissed as Rubin only got one test press of ‘It’s Yours’ and won’t let T-La Rock have it and he keeps holding it out to him saying ‘It’s Yours’ then pulling it away again.
There’s also a scene later in the film (movie) where T-La Rock’s getting a lift home from Mantronik after recording ‘Breaking Bells’ and they hear ‘It’s mine’ by Pretty Ricky and Boo-Ski come on the radio. Mantronik makes a b-line for Pretty Ricky’s crib and a fight scene follows with Boo-Ski (Who-Ski?) throwing T-La Rock from 12th story window, but it’s OK as Louie Lou pulls up in his Cadillac at the right moment and T lands straight in the passenger seat.
