Westwood Wednesdays #11

Happy Wednesday people. Of course Wednesday is not usually up there with Christmas Day but when we post up a classic Tim Westwood show it’s always cause for celebration. Here’s Tim savouring Fat Lace Issue 2. He didn’t take too kindly to the Notorious B.I.G. autopsy. Well, he should have lost some bloody weight like his buddy Lil Cease. Anyhoo. Here’s another classic show from 1992. There are so many future classics by Gangstarr, Tragedy, Geto Boys & Diamond D. This is the first Westwood show we’ve posted where Jon Shecter a.k.a. J The Sultan called in with his weekly Source reports from NYC. This week, interestingly enough, Whodini initiated a civil lawsuit against the city of New York for police brutality and violation of their civil rights. We’re siding with the police here, Whodini were a bit shit weren’t they. There are also early rumours about EPMD splitting. On tomorrow nights show Tim’s got some Naughty By Nature calendars to give away. Whatever you’ve got planned, cancel it, that’s an opportunity not to be missed.

Eeek … when all this stuff was originally uploaded I was going through my horrible young-fogey phase, now I’m out of that shit (thank fuck) and I’m seriously in need of some of these former uploads – any chance of some re-ups? I’d particularly like the Westwood shows from 22.04.89, 06.05.89, 27.05.89, 17.06.89, 08.07.89, 26.08.89 (morning – have the evening rap exchange already), 24.03.90, 21.04.90 and this 1992 show, plus the Richie Rich Rap Academy from 24.11.91. Hope that isn’t too much especially in the current climate …
