Unreleased Lord Finesse
The high-priced limited edition vinyl bandwagon rolls on. You’re either a collector who wants one of the 200 copies, or you’re a cynical downloader who thinks people are stupid for throwing 40 bones at a record when MP3 rips are free (although you’re also an idiot because the resale value of your MP3 is precisely nothing). Or you’re one of those people that don’t care either way. So that’s three kinds of people. We’re keeping our opinions (and vacuum sealed copies) to ourselves. Let’s just say, without people putting these out, there wouldn’t be Mp3 rips for you to suck up in the first place. And the price isn’t lower because there’s not enough demand to press a whole heap more. Trust us, these arguments have been road-tested. Just enjoy some audio in all its streaming glory and buy one if you want to.

What the fuck is going on, who are these fuckers putting out $80 records, fuck that shit I’ll just download that shit – these piss taking cunts deserve to rot in hell!
^ LOL.
Unlike most of the other recent records of this ilk i’d actually like to own that Lord Finesse one but i’m not paying that price for a new record.
if the unreleased Ultimate Force songs can get released for a normal price then so can these.
nice, out my price range for sure but thankyou for streamin the joint. Very happy to hear some new L. I bet this dude who said piss taking cunt is Brittish. That sounds like some UK cussing right there. Gnarly dude
surely they could press 1000 copies, sell them cheaper and still get demand for a repress
No, there isn’t enough demand. the economic arguments have all been rehearsed. no-one buys hip-hop vinyl except a few thousand nerds.
I’m sure there are more than 200 vinyl nerds in Antwerp, Belgium alone who’d buy this thus more copies being pressed/it being cheaper.
I can see if it’s a record by McGruff then, okay, but people like Lord Finesse, Godfather Don + Cenobites could sell a few more hundred copies even in this day and age.
