Original insert found inside Doug E Fresh ‘Oh, My God!’ LP

Long gone are the days of cracking open a freshly sealed long player purchased with your Saturday job earnings to find an order form with which you can buy an ‘All The Way To Heaven’ sweatshirt, in yellow. After heading down to your local post office to procure a postal order, sending it off dutifully to an address in New York City, two years later you come to realise the garment is destined never to arrive. It never occured to us that there were no photos of said garments. This was a time before telephony so it’s not as if you could call them. It was certainly way before eBay so you couldn’t file a complain through PayPal. A PayPal back then was slang for ‘prostitute’. Only now are we realising that our hard earned loot was going to fund the Church of Scientology, or something.

Anyway, skip on 20 odd years. We have telephony, we have the internet, we have internet telephony and we have a Fat Lace eBay store with some rare posters for sale. We hear your sighs, but how the hell do we fund this blog? OK, there’s a little bit of advertising. But we want more and we want to give you more.
