Hi! I’m Alan Partridge. I hate Noel Gallagher so much! I obviously have read any comments he has ever made ’cause I hate him so much. I spent an hour typing in my comments about that bastard ’cause I hate him so much.
Seriously, though, I can’t believe the passion his comments stirred. Why can’t you take all take a page out of Jay Z’s book, look at his comments as absurd and funny, and just calm down?

a good idea to try to show noel gallagher up for the one minded guy he is
would help if the guy could hit at least a couple of the right notes
im a fan of a lot of hip hop but in my opinion he really isnt all hes said to be

I’d pay a serious amount of cash to see Jay Z do a set comprised solely of his street joints and album cuts, and leave out his big tunes/singles. Not taking anything from the show he does but most of my favourite tracks of his arent performed, so while its cool hearing ‘Just Wanna Love You’ and ‘Big Pimpin’, i need to hear ‘Do It Again’, ‘So Ghetto’ and ‘Can I Live’ aswell!

Jay-Z smashed it. Someone’s already said it, but he really is such a champion for this music. It was just such a typically self-assured and downright cool performance which stands in such a stark contrast to the unwashed lank-haired college boys who usually infest the stage at such events, blaring out their bloody joyless paeans to the miserable lives they haven’t lived because actually they grew up in Dulwich with their insurance underwriter fathers and ‘artistic’ mothers, were raised on a strict diet of polenta and organic New Zealand lamb and no doubt attended schools where the height of rebellion is smoking some overpriced homegrown while fingering Chas’s sister at Jonty’s country house party in the South Downs.

As for Oasis – Alan Partridge is bang on. They haven’t mattered since they were serenading Tone and Cherie back in ‘96. Their music hasn’t aged well either. It’s pub karaoke at best. So why they’re still acting like the elder statesmen really is a total mystery.

A ONE MAN SHOW THAT CLEANED UP AT Glastonbury. what else can one say , NO DANCERS, NO SINGERS, He is so talented he held that stage on his own and he rocked, even if you did not like Rap you LOVE it now.
