I think Dizzee sounds better on his own stuff, when he’s not trying to do ‘proper’ Hip Hop…Bun B absolutely fucking ANIHILATES him on this, shows him how to rap proper, makes Dizzee sound like a nursery rhyme rapper. He shoulda just done the hook, that don’t sound too bad.
gotta give him props for kinda being the first UK rapper to do it so big in the US like that though and Estelle even though she’s wack…who’s gonna be the first underground UK emcee with real mic skills to smash it in the US?

Again, the yanks are gonna wonder why all all our MC’s sound a bit crap..first Derek B, then Monie Love, then Estelle, now Dizzee…they all made some OK tunes in their own right, but they’re hardly the epitome of UK emceeing at it’s finest are they.
