Who will Lil’ Jon sign with?
With TVT filing for bankruptcy last week, the rap world is eagerly anticipating Lil Jon’s next label move, kind of. A spokesperson for Def Jam told Fat Lace “Don’t look at us, we told him to go to Koch”. A spokesperson for Koch told us “Koch Records and Lil ‘Jonathan Smith’ Jon are currently in negotiations but we fully expect to get one over on him because, let’s face it, where else is he gonna go?”. Lil Jon was unavailable for comment but a spokesperson told Fat Lace “Crunk ain’t dead, it’s like a wilting flower, starved of water, willing every last bit of chlorophyll to keep it going as if a Koch advance were only moments away”.

Yea that’s pure bullshit. 1st off no spokesperson says shit like “We told him to go to Koch”. That’s the competition. You don’t say shit like that. 2nd: Where else is he gonna go? This nigga is a hitmaker. His last album did 3 million. If Koch is givin’ out 8 dollar a album deals than I co-sign goin’ to Koch because that’s even more bread for him. But I don’t they givin’ those kind of deals away. I can see him goin’ to Def Jam or Asylum/Atlantic, Labels will be lining up for him.
