Roxanne Redux
There has to be some reason that we’ve just done a 320 KBPS rip of a 1992 Real Roxanne LP for our iPod. Oh yeah, that’s it, another entry in our long, long run of Roxanne records. Okay, this one is a bit obtuse, but the fact that it’s called ‘Roxanne Shit Is Over’ means it definitely counts as an entry in the greatest war our generation has ever known (Yeah, we’d like to see that arsehole Prince Harry fighting in the Roxanne wars, he wouldn’t last a day up against Ralph Rolle and catching friendly fire from Chocolate Boogie). And it’s produced by Chubb Rock.
