Kidz In The Hall Get Political
Kidz In The Hall recently announced their endorsement of the Barack Obama Presidential campaign by lending the stand out cut off their recently released ‘Detention’ mix CD to the cause. Although it would be nice to see one half of Kidz In The Hall and Rawkus signing Naledge be judged on the merit of musical ability first, rather than his association with a political campaign, we have to say this makes a welcome change from some kind of Diddy-fronted propaganda. Naledge and Double-O may finally get their shine by any means necessary although we’re not surprised, school was their hustle.
Speaking of Rawkus, they are now accepting UK submissions to join their coveted Rawkus 50 network of artists. Apparently all you need to do is send your Myspace details and one MP3 which you feel best represents your talent to rawkusuk@gmail.com. Entries will be vetted and successful applicants will be contacted in January. Time to dust off that MPC.
