Lick Shots – Press Snaps That Time Forgot #2

mobb deep press

E’ybody knows about Mobb Deep’s genesis. Poetical Prophets, up in ‘The Source’, holding sickles like there’s some corn to be harvested. By the time they became Mobb Deep, a lot had changed, but they still had their sickles up on the wall to remind them of how they started. Click on the shot to get yourself the bigger version for your screensaver pleasure, and bump ‘Locked in Spofford’ to remind you of the time they got locked in Spofford. For illegal corn harvesting.

Spofford sounds like an English country village. Maybe thats where they were illegally harvesting. Or maybe they were bragging ‘we had it locked in Spofford son!’ .

I always thought the sickles were to Prodigy’s skin complaint charity what Red Ribbons are to Terence Higgins’ AIDS one.
