The Rhyme Inspector
With his debut set ‘Perseverance’ about to drop on Stones Throw we thought we’d hit you with an exclusive new track produced by Madlib and a potted audio and video history of this Bronx Bomber. If you’ve never been hounded by him outside Fat Beats, NYC then count yourself lucky. Now’s the time to get familiar.

The original battle in 1989 between Percee-P and Lord Finnesse is legendary. Here’s the original footage, it’s pretty grainy but hip-hop gold nonetheless.
Parts 1 & 2:
Finally, if you’re still doubting his credentials here’s some footage of Percee rhyming with fellow Bronx native Fat Joe. Stick around because Eminem drops in to lay down a verse too although he looks a little uncomfortable in the situation. We doubt Percee would get within a five mile radius of Marshall these days. How the hell he got into this Burger King bathroom cipher we will never know. Peep:

Hip Hop is a beautiful thing.
That toilet shit looks like Marshall just punched someone, went to the toilet to bandage it up and cry a bit but got followed in by Percee and his camcorder mate. Poor thing.
Percee is a true legend, we are lucky to have him around still.
